CRIPPLE CREEK VICTOR HIGH SCHOOL EPYCS CLUB
COMMUNITY ALLOCATION AND EPYCS GRANT INFORMATION AND APPLICTION
EPYCS is now accepting applications for Community Allocation Grant Money.
Criteria:
The EPYCS mission goal for Community Allocation Grants is to consider and recommend grant awards to the Cripple Creek Town Council for organizations or individuals that provide services to the citizens of Cripple Creek, or enhance the quality of the life for the residents. Community allocation grants are awarded in November and March. An organization or individual that received community allocation funding in a previous grant period, is not eligible for another grant in the cycle immediately following, unless the funding request is for a different program than the one for which the previous grant was awarded. For example, if a program/project received funding in March, the agency or individual could not apply for a grant for the same program/project in November.
Application Procedure:
A complete application should include the three page grant application form and a copy of the organization’s 501(c)(3) letter, if applicable. You may also include a list of volunteer services that EPYCS students may be allowed to help with in your organization and an annual report, brochure, or other pertinent organizational material.
Grant requests should be submitted to:
EPYCS Attn: Jeff Barkley
Cripple Creek Victor High School
P.O. Box 897
Cripple Creek, CO 80813
The deadline for applications is October 17, 2011. Absolutely NO applications will be accepted after this date. The hearings will be held on October 25, 2011 in the City Council chambers at the Cripple Creek Town Hall from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Please ensure that you or a representative from your organization will be available at the assigned time to present your grant proposal.
Should you need more information please contact Jeff Barkley at 689-3319 or jbarkley@ccvschools.com
***Special instructions for Cripple Creek-Victor School personnel who apply for grants:
Please give yourself plenty of time to prepare your grant request. In the past, we have had several school grants that were done “at the last minute” and as a result, they were poorly planned and poorly written resulting in the application not being granted. Consult with your building administrator to determine if the money you are requesting is or should be covered by a budget line item or other sources. After the grant application is completed, it must be read and approved by the building administrator before being submitted to EPYCS. Failure to obtain this approval will result in the grant not being accepted.
